Images and Photographs for Your Projects
Students should use images that are copyright free or cite the correct source from where the image originated.
The image feature in Google is popular because it is so easy to use. The truth is that most of the images found on google are protected by copyright. They require permission for use. Students need to be aware that giving credit is not the same as having permission to use an image. Librarians recommend students and teachers try one of these “copyright friendly” sites. Pay attention to the “terms of use” for each of these sites.
